Player Listings

Here are listings of the players that have played so far. Pictures will follow once I remember to take the camera along to the game and take some....

Player Name Position Profile Picture
Ben Giles Goalkeeper A new signing for the 2005 and 2006 season. Chris wanted to come out on field this season, so this worked well. Ben is not afraid of getting stuck in and likes the aerial acrobatics.
Simon Hargreaves Defence Started last season with a couple of nightmares, then started turning up sober and his game improved 100% and started heading the ball in the right direction.
Oliver Hoare CB/CM Olli was one of our mid-season signings who slotted into the vacant CB position really well. Helps keep the back line tight remaining pretty calm about it at all times.
James Henley Defence Jimbo had a good season in midfield last year when he didn’t turn up still pickled from the night before. Looking to play regularly defence this season and has had an impressive start so far. AKA David from the Village People
Ross Blair Right Back Ross joined us late last season and gave us some real strength at the back. Good control and vision on the ball allows him to break down the wing. Keeps the right hand side very tight allowing Rosko to concentrate more on giving the opposition defence hell on earth! To Follow
Phil Tuffield Midfield Played the most amount of games this season. Managed to dodge as many tackles as he did pieces of mud. AKA Jeff from the Village People
Greg Snowdon CM Good Left Foot, still trying to lose weight "I'm big-boned", "I've got a slow metabolism","It's genetic" - b*ll*cks, I eat too much !! Oi, Shut it
Chris Lock Midfield Played in goal last season, out on the field for this one. Yet to see if we will want to put him back in goal….!
Neil Cleave CB/CM Very useful in the air, scoring most of his goals last season via his swede. Has the occasional polite conversation with referees regarding the rules of the game.
Rosko John Right Midfield Rosko is reguarly showing his pace to be useful and is filling the right wing position well. First touch can be a bit heavy, pretty much like everyone else in the team. Rosko has built up a good understanding with Ross to keep the right-hand side dynamic but tight, although no one else seems to know anything about it! AKA Eric from the Village People
Oliver Paxton Forward Olli had a good season, and ended up with two awards. He received enough praise for those so I wont bang on any more about it.
Ben Ayling CM/CF Ben has been a very useful player for us, but unfortunately he has been dogged with a rib injury which kept him out of a lot of games. Has a scorching shot and needs to bag a lot of goals this season. To Follow
Louis Day LB Brand new player. One of Oli Paxtons mates. Had a storming first game, reading it well and getting stuck in. Got a goal in his first match, which he deserved. To Follow
Richard Gabriel Forward Another new signing. Been commited to training and got stuck in well in his first game. To Follow
Up Lailavit On the left Up is yet another new signing and is a quick player who gets around the ankles of opponents like a Jack Russell. To Follow
